This is the 15th edition of the Festival. And its reputation obliges. Several light installations have been prepared by artists from all over the world. The main highlight of the programme will be the only paid event (symbolically 20PLN, with free entry for children under 5 years old): LITHOS, a sky-high visual and musical performance by the Spanish Voala Company Group.You'll be able to watch some amazing acrobatics from the artists, accompanied by rock music. This year's festival theme is particularly close to our hearts, as it refers to ecology in the context of renewable energy sources and the coexistence of technology with the environment. At the Bulwar Hotel, heat pumps have been heating the domestic water and the building since we started, and we replaced the original solar installation with a photovoltaic system. Unusual, given the hotel's location directly in the historic Old Town.
However, that is not all when it comes to our activities. In line with the festival's belief that a drop wears away the stone, we are setting environmental trends in the tourism industry every day, with small, medium, and large steps. We show you how to act so that the tourism industry is associated with environmental responsibility and can operate with respect for nature.
Meanwhile, all of this year's installations will be set up in the Old Town, making a walk through our UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic center an even greater attraction than usual. The installations will be available from 8:30 PM to midnight, and the one-hour Lithos show starts daily at 8:30 PM. You can purchase tickets for the show HERE>>.
Plan a visit to our illuminated Secret Garden as well, which will be open from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This terraced garden cascades across multiple levels, with lush greenery from trees and shrubs creating an incredible microclimate in the heart of the city. You'll find both refreshing and warming drinks waiting for you here—enjoy them depending on the weather in your hearts and in nature!
Due to the installations being spread across the entire Old Town, traffic arrangements around the historic center, including near the Bulwar Hotel, will be adjusted throughout the Festival from 7:00 PM to midnight.
