As they say, we are what we eat. And what we eat influences our mind and body, our physical as well as our mental condition, our health and thus our future. The shape we are in during autumn of our lives depends on how much we care of ourselves now. The late pandemic proved, that it is important to slow down and think about what’s next.
When buying food for home, we always choose the best products. We analyze ingredients and nutritional value. We do take care of ourselves and our loved ones. We support local producers to make sure we know where the food comes from.

Our mission in Bulwar Restaurant in Torun is to serve our guests healthy, well balanced and tasty meals. All dishes are cooked onsite on your individual order by a group of high qualified cooks. We buy locally and create a network of mutual business relations. Our menu is seasonal and changes often. You find here a selection of traditional, local, meat as well as plant based options. The choice is difficult? We offer advice. With pleasure.
Thanks to central location, in the Old Town of Torun, a picturesque view on the Vistula river from our terrace is guaranteed. Spring and summer evenings are a great occasion to find peace of mind by herbal tea or glass of wine in our mysterious garden. From there on we invite you to use relaxing saunas or body treatments in our SPA.
Is it possible to book the Bulwar Restaurant for exclusive use?
Of course. This involves an additional fee depending on the number of people.
What dishes does the chef recommend?
We are masters of beef tenderloin tartare (emphasis: tenderloin), steak also from beef tenderloin, and duck - depending on the season, for example, with baked apples or red cabbage.
Is there a children's menu at Bulwar Restaurant?
No, but we are happy to offer our little guests dishes tailored to their requirements. Pasta and a delicious tomato sauce are always on hand. It must be said, however, that if parents allow it, the little ones take great pleasure in eating our duck.
Are there vegetarian dishes at Bulwar Restaurant?
Of course. You will usually find a vegetarian soup and a vegan main course on our menu. Some dishes originally with meat or fish are prepared in a vegetarian version on request (e.g. salads).
How much does it cost to dine at Bulwar Restaurant?
It depends on your preferences and ability to order. Main courses cost between 50 and 130 PLN.
Are breakfasts served to external guests?
Of course. You are welcome to use our buffet every day during breakfast serving hours. Payment directly from the staff.
Is it possible to order wine with lunch/dinner?
Yes, and not just on bottles. At Bulwar Restaurant we have a machine for vacuum sealing bottles, which we can offer you as many as 32 excellent wines by the glass! This is the only such offer in Toruń.
Is it possible to choose the menu in advance before coming for a booked dinner?
Absolutely. It is possible to order specific dishes from the menu, and in the case of guaranteed bookings (e.g. by credit card or prepayment) it is also possible to order special dishes, outside the menu, in a predetermined quantity. This applies to both main courses and other dishes.
Is there a club in the hotel?
Bulwar Club in the basement of the historic Racławice Barracks is available primarily for group bookings (e.g. birthday parties or team-building events) with exclusive bookings. In the autumn/winter season we also open it on selected days (usually Saturdays) for individual guests.
Is it possible to book a separate table far away from other guests in the restaurant?
Our restaurant is an open space of 276m2. For those of you who need to shield yourselves from others, we have several screens available. However, we would like to inform you in advance that these are not solid or soundproof walls.
